Making their way through a land trapped beneath a theocratic rule and controlled by an all-seeing, all-knowing despot, Abby and Celia are on a journey to peel away the layers of untruths they’ve been taught their whole lives.

Moths in the Veil was inspired by the records of two acts of religious genocide, one from the 1200’s BCE and one from the 1200’s CE, and explores the necessity of not taking revealed truths at face value. It is, ultimately, a story about needing to hold fast to love and friendship even when the entire weight of the powers that be stand to crush one’s mind and spirit.

The novel is illustrated in traditional pen, brush and ink, and is 510 pages in eight chapters, with the seventh chapter divided into two parts for printing. Covers are done in pen, ink, and wash.

Separate chapters are all available on the Comics Shop page, or as a bundle below.
